Checklist Information

What is Checklist?
The checklist site is a free resource aimed at the computer emulation community. It provides a central database for many systems listing the compatibility of software. So if you want to know what games run on certain emulators, you can look it up here.

Who keeps it all up to date?
Quite simply, we all do. One of the reasons this site was created was to enable the community to update the statuses themselves. For instance, It will take one person many days to test all Sega Genesis games on an emulator. But many people can accomplish the same task much quicker and at their own pace, updating their findings on the site. In order to be able to update edit and review, you will be required to create an account. Browsing the site is free for all.

What's the status system about?
If you look at the main game/system lister screen i.e. DrMD for the GP32, you will notice different entries are different colours. This is what it all means:
Green This game has been tested and it works perfectly
Yellow This game has been tested and it works but may have some problems such as graphical or audio glitches
Red This game has been tested and it doesn't work.
Grey This game has not been tested, it's status is unknown.

What about missing games, wrong software versions etc?
If you find any missing or incorrect data in our database, or maybe you have an idea that you would like us to impliment, then click here, to post in the checklist forum. This forum is not intended to replace any other retro or gaming forums, just as a feedback mechanism.

Who wrote the site?
The site was developed by Clare Jonsson for BerZerK.co.uk (clare@berzerk.co.uk). Site testers were Clare Jonsson & Phil Elliott.
Clare is quite happy to provide site supprt, you can contact her on the above email address or by posting on the checklist forum.

How do I search
Because of the complexity of the site, we have presently limited the search to individual Emulators/Systems. If you want to find a game for DrMD runing on the GP32. Go to that Emulator and use the search function from there. A more advanced search will eventually be developed.

What's the rating system all about?
Each Game or Item can be reviewed (Click on one of the Reviews links on the games lister screen). The review provides you with a score mechanism. The overall score of a game/item is calculated from the average overal scores. So if two people reviewd Sonic the Hedghog, one score was 10 out of 10, and the other gave it 0 out of 10, then the overall score will be 5.

What's new?
16th April 2006: The reviews section had a bug that cropped reviews. This has been sorted. Also the Graphics, Sound and Playability scores are now displayed.
12th April 2006: Neo-Geo and GP Engine added to database. Both populated with list of games
